Health and Safety Awareness and Manual Handling (Half Day)

All employers have an obligation to ensure their employees are made aware of relevant health and safety issues and requirements from current legislation.

Jennings Safety Services Ltd is offering a short training course (half day) which is aimed at all employees in the workplace and is designed to inform them of their legal obligations as an employee, and how they should conduct themselves whilst in the working environment.

Course Content: (Health & Safety Awareness)

Basic Requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Health and Safety Policy/Policy Statement
Risk Assessment Awareness
Emergency Procedures
Accident reporting/investigation
First Aid Requirements

In addition to this, Manual Handling Training is also included in this package. Manual handling is the No1 cause of injury in the workplace and employers have a legal obligation to take all reasonable steps to reduce the risk of injury as a result of lifting and carrying in the workplace.
